In November 2011, a dozen members of the ALF took a trip to Guyana entomological. Despite an abundance of butterflies less compared to previous years (in the opinion of local entomologists), this trip has attracted participants, awed by the wealth of the Amazon rainforest.
For 2012, the ALF offers several entomological expeditions: 1. the Crocker Range in Sabah (Malaysia Borneo), April 2. various destinations in Russia and Siberia (June and July);
3. Campanquiz of the Cordillera and the Rio Tambo in Peru (November).
These photographs, made by our friend Jean Michel, proceed from the second trip of the Entomological ALF in Ussuri. June 20 to July 9, 2011, having started well in the second half of June, this trip has brought together with many species not observed in July 2010.
Among the various entomological ALF travel plans for summer 2011, this exciting circuit (25 days in July) in the Moluccas and Papua allow the observation of lépidofaunes highly endemic.

The Ussuri, the Altai, the Caucasus, Yakutia, Eastern Siberia: the ALF offers exciting trips to explore the entomological fauna Palaearctic exceptional.
A small group stayed lepidopterists, for twenty days in July 2010, the Moluccas (Maluku). The brevity of the "expedition" did not prevent the discovery of the fantastic wildlife of an extraordinary volcanic archipelago.
Despite the vagaries of weather, the trip to Altai (Western Siberia) has achieved its main objective: the encounter with a Palearctic fauna exciting!
The trip in ALF Ussuri (July 2010) has given full satisfaction: the weather and butterflies were very different from the game: here are some pictures presented by sites visited.
Yuri Berezhnoi we offers travel entomological Ussuri. This is the region explored in the early twentieth century by Vladimir Arsen'ev, the famous author of Dersu Uzala. The lépidofaune is diverse and combines Siberian and Chinese Palearctic species.
